Architecture
How is Arham Enclave being designed and built?
The building sits on a long, narrow plot of about 59 ft by 172 ft. The ground floor is left open for a driveway and covered parking. Above it, five identical residential floors each carry five flats arranged along a 9′4″ wide central corridor, with two staircases and two 5 ft × 5 ft lifts serving the floor.
The structural notes on every drawing are the same: an RCC framed structure, a foundation taken down to hard strata, 0.23 m (9 inch) walls inside and out, an exposed brick façade, and a smooth internal finish. An exposed brick exterior weathers well and needs far less repainting than a plastered and painted façade.
Each home has its own balconies, 4 ft to 4 ft 6 in wide, and the kitchens open onto dry balconies for washing and utility.
